Riverlands Animal Hospital started out as a brother-sister team of veterinarians providing comprehensive animal care to pet owners in LaPlace and the surrounding river parishes of southeast Louisiana. Our business has grown to incorporate more than ten doctors, including emergency and relief veterinarians, and a staff of more than twenty friendly faces. Riverlands Animal Hospital continues to serve the community as one of the largest veterinary hospitals in the area.
Dr. Lindsey R. Carr was born and raised in South Louisiana. She attended LSU for her undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Science in 2007. After a five year career in inhalation toxicology, Dr. Carr attended LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2016. While in veterinary school Dr. Carr was one of two student caretakers of Mike VI, LSU’s live tiger mascot. Dr. Carr enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, particularly radiology, emergency medicine, and pocket pets.
