The Louisiana Forestry Foundation Updated:12/2021

The Louisiana Forestry Foundation, founded in 1967, has given more than $1,164,600 in scholarships to students majoring in forestry at Louisiana State University, Louisiana Tech University and, adding in 2018 Southern University and A&M College – the three accredited forestry schools in the state – and Central Louisiana Technical & Community College - Huey P. Long Campus in Winnfield and the SOWELA Technical Community College - Oakdale Campus, for students enrolled in its forestry technician program.

The mission of the Louisiana Forestry Foundation is to "advance, promote, develop and extend education in the field of forestry, including the development and diffusion of knowledge about the profession of forestry and the scientific management and use of forest resources."
