SJB Group provides a full spectrum of coastal, wetland and environmental consulting services. Our staff includes professional personnel with specialized training, education and experience in wetland ecology, biology, geography and soil science. The environmental services group includes permit specialists, coastal ecologists, wildlife biologists, soil scientists and geographic information science specialists. Coastal/Wetland Restoration
The SJB Group project team has a proven track record of effectively managing, designing and implementing numerous coastal/wetland restoration projects for state/federal as well as for commercial clients. Environmental Regulatory Permitting and Compliance
SJB Group provides full-service wetlands consulting, from initial delineation to permitting and compensatory mitigation. SJB Group has overseen hundreds of wetland projects through the complex regulatory compliance process.

SJB Group project team also provides a full range of ecological, environmental and engineering services for responsible parties facing Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) claims resulting from unauthorized releases of oil and hazardous constituents into the environment. Our experience extends though all phases of the NRDA process, including documenting injury to natural resources, negotiation settlements, designing remedial actions and developing habitat restoration plans.

Environmental Due Diligence
The SJB Group project team routinely conducts Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) for a variety of clients. Phase I/II ESAs provide due diligence for commercial real estate transactions and identify historical or overt physical evidence of past activities that may have resulted in the release of hazardous substances or petroleum products at or in the near vicinity of a given site. SJB Group team members have conducted hundreds of Phase I ESAs throughout Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Alabama. These have included large oil and gas-producing properties, gas stations, agricultural processing facilities and retail stores.
