Mr. Weiler is engaged in all areas of tax practice with a particular emphasis on tax litigation, state and local tax matters, employee benefit plans (pension and welfare) for public and private employers, business, financial and estate planning and U.S. taxation of foreign investors.
Upon graduation for law school Mr. Weiler was employed as a trial attorney with the Chief Counsel’s Office, Internal Revenue Service, in Washington, D.C. While in D.C. Mr. Weiler was awarded a Masters of Law Degree with a major in Taxation from the George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
He is licensed by the Louisiana State Bar Association as both a Board Certified Tax Attorney and a Board Certified Estate Planning and Administration Specialist.
