Louisianan Urban Forestry South (UFS) Updated:08/2023

Urban Forestry South employees and collaborators work closely with universities, state forestry agencies, state and local U&CF programs, Cooperative Extension Service, nonprofit organizations, schools, local natural resource agencies, and other Federal agencies. Primary partners for Urban Forestry South include the International Society of Arboriculture, the National Arbor Day Foundation, Southern Regional Extension Forester, and the Southern Group of State Foresters.

Urban Forestry South is the USDA Forest Service's Region 8 Urban & Community Forestry service center in the southern region and is affiliated with the Southern Research Station. USDA FS southern region includes: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
